Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S is seeking an Experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to support European projects from Ramboll India and collaborate with UK and Denmark teams. The role focuses on EIA across energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, contributing from feasibility through consent compliance stages.

You will engage with data collection, report preparation in English, regulatory permitting, and multidisciplinary coordination to drive sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, environmental sciences, earth sciences or a closely related environmental discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience on EIA projects.
• Experience in the energy sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Global experience with impact assessments across industries.
• Familiarity with national and international environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Support UK and Danish teams with all aspects of impact assessment.
• Identify, review, and summarize relevant data.
• Identify data gaps and plan data collection.
• Assist in preparing reports in English.
• Assist with applications for environmental permits for the European market.
• Coordinate inputs from internal teams and external specialists.
• Support senior consultants with project tasks and project management.
