Job summary

Sopra Steria Group in the Philippines is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage GitLab Enterprise Edition, Linux systems and CI/CD pipelines. You will apply automation with Terraform/Ansible and work with AWS services to support secure, reliable deployments.

The role emphasizes incident management, log analysis and RCA, with 04–06 years of relevant experience and a B.Tech./BE/BCA, in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing GitLab Enterprise Edition, users, groups, repositories, CI/CD and runners.
• Strong hands-on Linux administration (RHEL/Rocky) and production troubleshooting.
• Proficient in building and supporting GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Working experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS and Load Balancers).
• Hands-on scripting and automation using Bash and Python; familiarity with Terraform/Ansible.
• Excellent incident management, log analysis and RCA skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage GitLab Enterprise Edition and associated components, backups and upgrades.
• Administer Linux environments, patching, security and production troubleshooting.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Work with AWS services to architect and manage cloud resources and networking.
• Automate infrastructure and operations using Terraform, Ansible and scripts.
• Provide strong incident management and root-cause analysis.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• GitLab Administration: Manage GitLab Enterprise Edition, users, groups, repositories, permissions, CI/CD, Runners, Registry, upgrades, backup/restore and troubleshooting.
• Linux Administration: Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/Rocky Linux, including patching, users, SSH, systemd, storage, networking, SSL/TLS certificates, security and production troubleshooting.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Develop and support GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, secrets, security scanning and deployment automation.
• AWS: Working experience with EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, RDS and Load Balancers.
• Automation: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible and Bash/Python scripting.
• Operations: Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, incident management and RCA skills.
