Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking entry level to experienced Geotechnical Field Technicians for our Laurel, MD office to perform construction observation and testing of soil, concrete and other materials.

Responsibilities include on-site monitoring, field testing, and reporting results. The role suits recent graduates or early-career professionals who are comfortable outdoors, able to lift 60 pounds regularly, and prepared for overtime and possible weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a similar field preferred but not required.
• NICET, ACI, WACEL, or structural certifications a plus.
• Own a reliable vehicle and have a favorable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to regularly lift 60 pounds and occasionally move 80 pounds or more.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (visa sponsorship is not available)
• Available to to work on-site starting at 7AM.
• Overtime should be expected and is paid at time and a half
• Availability for occasional weekend work is a plus.
