PLANATE MANAGEMENT GROUP CORP. seeks a senior leader to steer global innovation and technology delivery, aligning the division’s portfolio with corporate strategy and implementing standardized processes across regional and international programs.
The role oversees multiple groups, drives risk management, and ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding cross-functional teams through complex projects and field operations.
This role spans people leadership, technical oversight, and strategy, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality delivery of innovative solutions for internal initiatives and client programs across the region and globally. This aligns the division’s portfolio with corporate strategy, implements standardized processes, and cultivates a culture of excellence and operational discipline.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy and standards:Support the Head of Global Innovation and Technology Delivery in shaping vision, roadmap, and operating plan; establish procedures, KPIs, and drive adoption of emerging technologies
Team leadership and development:Lead engineers and Team Leads, manage performance and succession planning, and foster a learning culture through certifications, training, and mentorship
Program oversight and technical guidance:Oversee project portfolios, ensure technical deliverables meet standards, manage risks, and provide integration expertise across systems, manufacturing, UAS, and surveying
Compliance, safety, and stakeholder engagement:Ensure regulatory compliance, uphold safety and quality programs, manage procurement and assets, and represent the division in executive, client, and industry forums
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, with preference for: Geodetic Engineering (strongly preferred), with specialization in geospatial, photogrammetry, or hydrographic surveying; or Civil Engineering with demonstrated coursework or specialization in surveying, geomatics, or geospatial engineering
Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience, with proven background in aerial survey operations (UAS LiDAR, photogrammetry), hydrographic surveying (bathymetry, sonar systems preferred), engineering surveying and geospatial data acquisition; demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams in drone/UAS, surveying, and data acquisition; and experience supporting infrastructure, environmental, or maritime projects.
Licensed Geodetic Engineer (preferred) or Civil Engineer with surveying credentials
Hydrographic survey certification desirable
UAS pilot certification (CAAP or equivalent) preferred
GNSS, LiDAR, and photogrammetry certifications advantageous
PMP or equivalent beneficial
Geospatial expertise:Strong foundation in geodetic principles, coordinate systems, control networks, aerial LiDAR, photogrammetry workflows, and hydrographic/bathymetric survey methodologies.
Program leadership:Proven ability in portfolio management, including scoping, prioritization, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and delivery, with technical depth to oversee , workflows, and system integration across hardware, software, and field operations.
Regulatory and communication skills:Familiarity with Philippine regulatory environments and excellent communication skills for briefing executives and clients, stakeholder alignment, and change management.
Dynamic leadership and problem‑solving:High energy and integrity with a builder mindset, adept at leading multicultural teams across time zones, and skilled in analytical thinking, prioritization, and decision‑making in fast‑moving environments.
Possess a Philippine Passport and a Driver’s License
Working Conditions:
Primarily Subic Bay office/lab with regular fieldwork (flight tests, survey missions, site installs) and occasional domestic/international travel.
Ability to work flexible hours to interface with U.S. time zones as required.
