Job summary

Petron Corporation seeks a General Clerk for its LPG refilling plant in the Metro Manila area. The role covers cashiering, dispatch, and inventory, with coordination to the plant operator and other personnel to ensure timely service, correct quantities, and quality.

The incumbent will support the Third Party Refilling Plant Manager and engineers. Responsibilities include handling customer orders, stock monitoring, and coordinating replenishment with source plants, while upholding HSSE standards

Qualifications

Primary Function:

The General Clerk is in charge of performing Cashiering, Dispatching and Inventory functions of the refilling plant/s. He/ She have direct coordination with refilling plant operator and its personnel to ensure that all customers are being served on time, with right quantity and quality. They are also to support and provide necessary assistance to Third Party Refilling Plant Manager and engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures delivery of all customer orders at the right time and quantity.

• Reports to Engineer/ Manager Customer concerns to address needs and requirements.

• Monitors the product receiving operation of the plant.

• Monitors daily stock and product movement.

• Coordinates with source plants on the replenishment schedule thru daily sending of SPR.

• Monitors the operator's performance on LPG refilling activities.

• Implements the health, safety, environment and security related programs as instructed by engineer/manager.

• Conducts toolbox meetings and orientations related to HSSE.

• Performs cashiering functions which includes but not limited to the following:

• Receives invoices payments, post all payments/Cash receipts/RPCD received

• Prepares deposit slips of collections and deposit the collection to the depository bank daily

• Prepares report to Treasury re: returned checks or delayed deposits

• Batch and transmits PCRVs and CRTS to Records Center monthly

• Acts as custodian of accountable forms and quality records

• Performs Stock Accounting functions by daily monitoring the product movement, receipt and issuance of LPG product.

• Assists in the development of programs and/or procedures to improve operations, increase efficiency and minimize costs, losses, and other risks.

• Monitors and ensures that the proper procedures are implemented in the receipt, storage and refilling of LPG, and suggests ways to improve safety and efficiency in all aspects of operations, including proper inventory control.

• Reports any inventory and cashiering concerns to Engineer/Manager > Reports to Engineer/ Manager all other items as deemed necessary.

• Immediately reports to engineer/ manager any HSSE incidents on the plant. Providefirst-hand information and conduct investigation as necessary.

• Evaluates performance of the operators' personnel and endorses to the Engineer/ Manager.

• Reports to engineer/ manager maintenance related activities needed in the plant.

• Acts as reliever to other refilling plant as needed.

• Performs other functions assigned by the Engineer/ Manager.
