Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a General Accountant to support consolidated accounting, ensuring adherence to policies, guidelines, and US GAAP. The role involves managing statutory books, month-end closes, reconciliations, and audits within a dynamic, global tech environment.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Oracle ERP, Blackline, and Concur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is required.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Blackline and Concur is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting background with knowledge of US GAAP.
• Self-driven with initiative to learn systems.
• Ability to lead meetings and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain primary and statutory books of accounts.
• Prepare month-end close journal entries and close activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations and analyses.
• Conduct financial reviews and variance analyses.
• Ensure SOX compliance and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Oversee local compliance requirements by country of operation.
• Coordinate with third-party accounting and payroll providers.

Accountabilities:

The General Accountant position will handle below listed activities mostly supporting consolidated accounting, including but not limited to compliance to policies and guidelines and SOX internal controls.

• Responsible for the primary and statutory books of Lattice


• Prepare month end close journal entries and various close activities


• Prepare Account Reconciliations and Analysis


• Financial Review and Comparative Analysis


• SOX compliance and documentation requirements


• Coordinate and Work with External Auditors during Financial Audit


• Local Compliance requirements of Lattice, varies based on country it is based


• Coordinate with 3rd party accounting and payroll


• Womb to tomb accounting process


• Processing of Concur employee reimbursements


• Ad Hoc requirements

Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Science Accountancy


• CPA is preferred


• At least 5 years’ relevant experience.


• Advantage on the experience in Oracle, Blackline system and Concur System


• Self-Driven and has initiative to learn the system


• Background in Sales Office Accounting is an advantage


• Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP


• Oracle ERP experience preferred


• Strong, disciplined work paper preparation skills


• Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to effectively communicate technical issues to finance and non-finance personnel at all levels of a global organization


• Ability to lead meetings


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and manage competing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision


• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
