Job summary

Confidential is seeking an engineer in Metro Manila with deep expertise in Java Spring Boot and Python web frameworks. The role covers backend API development, GenAI features, and frontend work with React or Angular.

You will design, build, and operate services that leverage modern AI patterns, including LLMs, RAG, memory systems, and guardrails, while maintaining strong software craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in large, complex systems.
• 5+ years working with Java Spring Boot microservices and REST/JSON APIs.
• 5+ years of Python backend development with Flask/FastAPI/Django and async programming.
• 1+ year hands-on GenAI experience with LLMs, RAG, tool calling, embeddings, guardrails.
• 3+ years front-end with React or Angular, plus Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Backend & API development using Java Spring Boot and Python frameworks.
• Design and implement GenAI features, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI workflows.
• Build user interfaces with React or Angular.
• Manage data infrastructure including vector stores, embeddings, and caching.
• Ensure quality through PyTest, CI automation, and robust observability.
