Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer and Data Analyst in Manila to join EY GDS's Tax Tech Transformation team. You will build and integrate Power Platform solutions, translate requirements into analytics, and deliver end-to-end data-driven tools for tax clients.

The role demands 3+ years experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, Dataverse knowledge, API integration, and strong English communication. McKinley West-based position with growth in a global advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or equivalent.
• 3+ years overall experience with at least two years hands-on Microsoft Power Platform.
• Developed business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI; Dataverse knowledge.
• Experience using and embedding API to applications.
• Knowledge of Relational Database Model, SQL and ETL tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to converse in English.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in daily tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Available to work in McKinley West.

TAX TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION (TTT) – POWER APP DEVELOPER AND DATA ANLYSTS SENIOR

EY GDS’s Tax Tech Transformation (TTT) team’s mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics and programming skills.
Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

The opportunity

EY's GDS TTT team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.
GDS TTT team works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Corporate Tax Services, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, Transfer Pricing Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the Oceania TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.
EY is currently seeking a Senior to join our Tax Technology practice in Philippines, Manila.

Your key responsibilities

• Identify issues and challenges and provide recommendations, opportunities, and solutions to solve them
• Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with clients/business users to define and document technical and process requirements
• Translate data from its raw state to meaningful insights and reports
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to solve challenging business problems. Work with both structured and unstructured data, small or large datasets from various data sources
• Develop well-designed and reusable workflows and solutions following best practices
• Ensure delivery of quality end to end solutions for our clients
• Responsible for effectively communicating with other team members and clients on project-related information
• Communicate issues in a timely manner
• Provide support/assistance for business processes

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or equivalent
• An overall experience of 3+ years and at least two (2) years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform. Specifically, have developed business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. Knowledgeable in Dataverse and other back-end databases.
• With experience in using and embedding API to applications.
• Knowledge of Relational Database Model, SQL and ETL tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to converse in English.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in daily tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Available to work in McKinley West.
