You will deliver machine learning and AI solutions across a mixed project portfolio, spanning classical ML, generative AI, and agent-based AI, from design to deployment and ongoing improvement.

You’ll design, develop, and operate ML systems with reproducibility and observability, while communicating technical outcomes to business and governance

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering with production code practices.
• Hands-on Databricks experience (DLT, Unity Catalog, MLflow, model serving).
• Practical expertise in time-series/statistical diagnostics and model validation.
• Experience deploying and operating ML systems with reproducibility, observability, and controls.
• Ability to communicate technical model outcomes to business and governance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning models and AI applications, including generative AI and agent-based solutions.
• Work with data and AI platforms to build, integrate, and refine models and AI components, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
• Implement appropriate ML, GenAI, or agentic approaches depending on the problem, and improve existing AI systems.
• Contribute to the delivery of AI solutions by applying MLOps / LLMOps practices such as deployment, versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver practical, high-quality AI solutions that create measurable business value.

Role Description

The Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer delivers machine learning and AI solutions across a mixed project portfolio, including classical machine learning systems, generative AI applications, and agent-based AI solutions. The role spans solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing improvement, with a strong focus on building reliable, production-ready AI systems.

• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for designing and developing machine learning models and AI applications, including generative AI and agent-based solutions.
• They work with data and AI platforms to build, integrate, and refine models and AI components, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
• Responsibilities include implementing appropriate ML, GenAI, or agentic approaches depending on the problem, as well as improving and extending existing AI systems.
• They contribute to the delivery of AI solutions by applying MLOps / LLMOps practices such as deployment, versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Their goal is to deliver practical, high-quality AI solutions that create measurable business value.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering with pandas, NumPy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, etc., and production code practices.
• Hands‑on Databricks experience (DLT, Unity Catalog, MLflow, model serving, notebook orchestration).
• Practical expertise in time‑series/statistical diagnostics and model validation.
• Experience deploying and operating ML systems with reproducibility, observability, and controls.
• Ability to communicate technical model outcomes to business and governance audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Credit risk / financial modeling experience.
• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, Databricks agents).
• Exposure to automated documentation pipelines and model governance tooling.
