Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Manila is seeking a Performance Manager to support institutional asset owners and managers with analytics that tie performance, attribution, and risk to outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in banking, business management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with institutional clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets.
  • Familiarity with the systems/software development lifecycle to support technology‑driven solutions.
  • Proficiency with office productivity software to enhance efficiency and collaboration.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in the investment lifecycle, including industry best practices, regulatory requirements, the competitive landscape, and emerging trends in performance and risk analytics across client segments.
  • Conduct comprehensive performance analyses of investment portfolios including attribution analysis, exposures and rates of return against objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting for clients, ensuring data integrity and resolving basic workflow exceptions.
  • Analyze and interpret workflow exceptions. Guide third parties on remediation efforts and take ownership on plan execution. Present findings in straightforward, audience-appropriate communications.
  • Train and educate staff/clients on performance measurement practices and methodology and the internal performance measurement process.
  • Maintain a positive, uplifting work environment where all are encouraged to contribute. Adopt a growth mindset where all feel comfortable taking risks to learn. Persist through setbacks to achieve results.
  • Demonstrate success building strong interpersonal relationships in large, complex organizations.

In this role, you help clients understand the story behind their portfolios—linking performance, attribution, and risk to the outcomes that matter. You’ll collaborate across a sophisticated ecosystem, elevate reporting standards, and guide best practices throughout the investment lifecycle. As a Performance Manager within the Performance and Risk Analytics (‘PRA’) Team you are responsible in supporting the bank’s institutional asset owner and asset manager clients with technologies that provide insights into the result of their investment decisions throughout the investment lifecycle. You will play a critical role in supporting decision‑making processes, work on implementing organization’s objectives and ensuring reporting and client management with high standards.

  • Industry recognized professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA and CIPM are encouraged

  • Shift Schedule: will follow either APAC or EMEA
  • Work Setup: Full Time Onsite
