Job summary

Citco in Makati is seeking a Fund Accounting professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You will maintain books, calculate NAVs, and prepare financial statements for complex fund structures.

The role involves reconciling cash/positions, reporting metrics, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery. Hybrid work arrangements are offered to suit customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or management.
• CPA, CFA, CMA designation is an advantage.
• 4+ years in financial services with high-volume operations.
• Experience in private equity or hedge funds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records and calculating Net Asset Values.
• Prepare financial statements and associated reports, including performance metrics.
• Record trades and non-trade transactions in custody and accounting systems.
• Prepare NAV packages and financial statements; ad hoc reporting.
• Liaise with clients and Citco offices; resolve issues.
• Perform cash and position reconciliations.
• Monitor portfolio pricing and calculate fee accruals.
• Demonstrate ownership of tasks and meet SLAs.
• Understand client agreements and policies.

About the Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books and records and calculating Net Asset Values.
• Prepare financial statements and associated reports, including performance metrics.
• Calculate carried interest/performance fees.
• Record trade and non-trade transactions in custody and accounting systems.
• Liaise with other Citco groups and/or external parties for information and documents.
• Perform cash and position reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio pricing.
• Calculate and book fee accruals.
• Prepare NAV packages and financial statements.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting in line with client and internal requirements.
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion, in line with demanding Service Level Agreements
• Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies & client-specific agreements.
• Work with clients and other Citco Offices and Fund Accountants to resolve issues.
• Perform other tasks as required by Seniors, Supervisors and/or Managers.

Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or management.
• You have relevant professional designation is an advantage (CPA, CFA, CMA).
• You have experience (at least 4+ years) in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/or knowledge of private equity or hedge fund industry is a plus.
• Team player who can manage individual responsibilities.
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 2+ years
• You are proficient in MS Excel is an advantage.
• You are highly organized and detail oriented.
• You are proactive, team-oriented and results-driven.
• You have good interpersonal and client service skills.
• Amenable to working in our Alabang (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City)
• Amenable to working under Hybrid work arrangements (3 days working onsite per week)
• Amenable to working on shifting schedules (AM and Mid shift)
