Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. seeks a software engineer with 4+ years of experience in software development, API integration, and enterprise applications. You will develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and collaborate in Agile teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Experience with Git/Azure DevOps/Jenkins and modern JavaScript frameworks is highly valued. Familiarity with cloud platforms and OAuth/authentication concepts will be a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software development, API integration, or enterprise application development.
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, or Oracle technologies is an advantage.
• Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD and source control tools.
• Frontend: at least one modern JavaScript framework: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Nuxt.js.
• Backend: Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin), Node.js, FastAPI (Python).
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, validation, and error handling.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) knowledge.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Technical Skills

Frontend

• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework: React, Next.js, Vue.js. Nuxt.js
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Basic state management experience.

Backend

• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) knowledge.
• Experience building backend applications using: Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin), Node.js, FastAPI (Python)
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, validation, and error handling.
