Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Systems Developer for the Industrial Technology Platform to design, implement, and mature scalable software solutions. You will work with architects and engineers to deliver high-quality platforms that support digital transformation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include enhancing our next-gen platform stack (Vue.js/TypeScript frontend, FastAPI/Kafka/ClickHouse backend) and maintaining the legacy Laravel/PHP stack.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in software development.
• Software development certifications may supplement formal education.
• Experience as a full-stack developer.
• Frontend or backend developer experience with network engineering skills is valuable.
• Practical experience with Vue.js, Python, TypeScript, and FastAPI.
• Experience with modern software development practices including version control, testing, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop next-generation platform with frontend in Vue.js/TypeScript and backend in FastAPI, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure applications and services.
• Improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Support existing platform using Laravel, PHP, Gearman, Redis, MariaDB, and related technologies.
• Maintain and enhance legacy platform during transition period with focus on stability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions meet standards and business needs.
