Job summary

Thinking Machines is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team to create and maintain web apps that connect clients with machine-learning solutions and data pipelines.

You will design and implement both frontend and backend components, work with internal and external APIs, and ensure an excellent user experience across our web applications. Training to become a full-stack developer is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of web development experience.
• Proficient with building web apps and designing APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch).
• Git experience; trunk-based development a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to train to full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain both frontend and backend components.
• Build and consume internal and external APIs for ML solutions.
• Ensure good user experience across web apps and dashboards.
• Write readable, well-documented, tested code.
