Ascendion, a Makati City-based technology company, is seeking a talented Full-stack Developer to join our growing team. You will work across the entire technology stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases.

In this role you will design, develop, and maintain robust applications for a diverse client base, collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience with production work on frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks (React, Vue.js or Angular).
• Strong backend skills in Node.js, Python, Java, or C#.
• Relational and NoSQL databases; RESTful APIs; Git version control.
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Design and implement both frontend and backend components with seamless integration.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to improve UX and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
