Job summary

Astek is seeking a Full Stack Engineer based in Singapore to join its IT and engineering teams, delivering scalable applications with modern frontend and backend technologies.

You will work with ReactJS/TypeScript on the frontend and Python (Django/FastAPI) on the backend, contribute to AI-powered workflows, and help implement CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with experience in full-stack development.
• 3+ years building ReactJS/TypeScript frontends and Python backends (Django/FastAPI).
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack apps with ReactJS/TypeScript frontend and Django/FastAPI backend.
• Build modules for data-intensive AI-powered workflows.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab.
• Develop automated tests and QA frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams and CI/CD tooling (Git).
• Create frontend components with ReactJS/AngularJS.
• Work with Django, Flask, or FastAPI on the backend.
• Apply DevOps practices with Docker and Kubernetes.

Currently, we are looking for Full Stack Engineer which would be based in Singapore

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with minimum 3 yearas of experience in developing and maintaining full-stack applications using ReactJS with TypeScript for frontend and Python frameworks (e.g. Django/FastAPI) for backend
• Build and enhance modules for our data-intensive system with complex AI-powered workflows
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab
• Develop automated testing scripts and quality assurance frameworks
• Experience working in a development team and with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git)
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) to develop customised front-end components
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, etc.) or back-end frameworks (e.g. FastAPI) with preference for Django
• Understanding of DevOps principles and proficiency with automation of software testing and deployment processes for containerized applications using common DevOps tooling (e.g., Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes)
