Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software with C#/VB.Net, React, and database tech on a work-from-home setup in the Philippines. You will implement APIs, ensure data integrity, and contribute to testing and documentation while collaborating with design and product teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–4+ years in C# or VB.Net, 2–3+ years with PostgreSQL and MS-SQL, and 2+ years with React, plus strong testing experience.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience in C# and/or VB.Net development.
• 2–3+ years with PostgreSQL and MS-SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with React.
• Strong SQL skills with solid understanding of database design and query optimization.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and at least one automation testing framework.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical challenges across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of scalable, high-performing software applications.
• Develop server-side logic, APIs, and services using C# and VB.Net.
• Build and optimize database systems using PostgreSQL and MS-SQL, ensuring data integrity, performance, and efficiency.
• Contribute to front-end development using React and related technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Participate actively in code reviews, maintaining high engineering and quality standards.
• Write and maintain automated tests across the stack, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to align technical implementation with user experience requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full application stack.
• Document systems, processes, architectural decisions, and technical workflows.
• Support continuous improvement of development processes, standards, and engineering practices.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and technical considerations proactively to stakeholders and team members.
