Job summary

PwC Philippines is seeking a frontend/backend engineer to design, build, and ship AI-powered applications central to client engagements. You will work with consultants and data scientists to turn strategy into working software, quickly.

You'll create full-stack web apps, integrate LLM APIs, develop clean UI components, and build APIs to support AI features. A strong grasp of React or Vue, Python/Node/TS, REST, and data concepts will help you ship tangible solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in a modern JS framework (React or Vue) and comfort with HTML/CSS.
• Working knowledge of at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or TypeScript).
• Exposure to LLM APIs — you've called one before and understand prompt construction, tokens, and response handling.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving instinct; you can take an ambiguous brief and ship something tangible.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack web applications (frontend + backend + integrations) that embed AI capabilities — think intelligent dashboards, agentic workflows, document processing pipelines, and conversational interfaces.
• Integrate large language model APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, etc.) into client-facing products using streaming, structured outputs, and tool use
• Develop clean, maintainable UI components and responsive layouts; translate design mockups into polished, demo-ready interfaces
• Write backend services and APIs to support AI features — retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, data pipelines
• Participate in rapid prototyping sprints, iterating quickly based on client and stakeholder feedback
• Contribute to internal tooling and reusable component libraries that accelerate future engagements
