Job summary

LaVie is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team in the Philippines. The role emphasizes cross-platform frontend work with Expo (React Native) for Android, iOS, and Web, paired with backend development using Python (FastAPI).

You will contribute to end-to-end software solutions, design and optimize MSSQL databases, and implement caching with Redis while collaborating in Scrum ceremonies and practicing continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Open to fresh graduates
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack concepts with willingness to learn
• Exposure or academic understanding of Expo, Python, MSSQL, Redis, and Azure DevOps is preferred but not required
• Acquaintance with Scrum and evidence-based management is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Relevant tertiary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is required

Responsibilities

• Assist in end-to-end development and maintenance of applications using Expo for frontend and Python for backend services.
• Design, integrate, and manage database architectures and caching layers using MSSQL and Redis.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve full-stack functionalities.
• Participate in Scrum events and contribute to an agile development environment.
• Support deployment and CI/CD processes, ideally using Azure DevOps.
• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
