Job summary

ESOL IT SERVICES INC. is seeking a Web/Frontend Developer to build responsive, high‑quality user interfaces and integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable digital experiences.

The role focuses on translating user stories into functional web apps, writing clean code, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies while continually improving development processes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks, esp. React.js.
• Experience with Jest and React Testing Library for unit tests.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, microservices and system integration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories and requirements into functional web applications.
• Design, implement and enhance responsive UI features.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, backend engineers and others to deliver seamless products.
• Write clean, maintainable code and meet project timelines.
• Integrate frontend apps with backend services via REST APIs.
• Optimize performance and user experience across devices.
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain documentation and support development automation.
