Job summary

PETNET, INC. is seeking a Frontend Developer in Makati to build UI features, shape page structure, and optimize web pages. You will contribute to new applications and modify existing ones using our stack, collaborating with backend teams and product owners.

The role emphasizes front-end coding, API integration, testing, and documentation. Strong HTML/CSS/JS skills and experience with Vue/React/Angular are required, plus SPA experience and Git proficiency.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in web application development.
• Solid experience in using and writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Solid experience in front-end technologies such as VUE, REACT or Angular JS.
• Solid experience in Single Page Application (SPA) programming using technologies such as VUE, REACT or Angular JS.
• Intermediate experience in consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Intermediate experience in using Unit Testing methodologies.
• Basic to Intermediate experience in using any Git Repositories.
• Some experience in using Laravel Framework version 4.x and or above.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project scoping.
• May recommend the technology stack to be used in the project.
• May Participate in building a team of developers suitable for the scope of the project.
• Participate in assigning of tasks during Sprint Planning.
• Write or modify front-end codes according to agreed PBIs and SBIs.
• Develop front end web applications using front-end technologies.
• Integrate APIs to front-end applications.
• Write unit tests if applicable in the backend technology stack.
• Ensure codes written follow applicable security standards, coding best practices.
• Update SBI status in Azure Task board upon completion of each item.
• Create merge requests in the source repository to apply code changes.
• Perform functional testing for each functionalities.
• Perform unit testing prior to User’s testing.
• Participate or create or update technical documentation as needed (API Flow, System Flow, Data Flow Diagram, etc.).
• Assist deployment of a system or application in Development and UAT environments.
• May attend deployment in Staging and Production environments and perform post deployment testing.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and cohesive codes.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to get in-depth knowledge in the assigned Sprint.
• Participate in continuing education and training of new technology stacks, programming languages, methodologies or other technologies.
