Job summary

Cornerstone Smart Global Corp. is seeking a freelance/part-time Quantity Surveyor or Estimator to support BOQ preparation for lighting, electrical, and smart-home projects. You will read plans, perform take-offs, and prepare organized BOQs in Excel.

Candidates with experience in take-off software such as Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD or Planswift, and with electrical/lighting project exposure, are preferred. Flexible hours and remote collaboration are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with take-off software and BOQ preparation.
• Electrical/lighting project exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read architectural/electrical plans
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Count lighting fixtures, switches, outlets and other electrical items
• Prepare organized BOQs in Excel
• Identify quantities per room/area
• Assist with material costing when needed
