Ideal candidates have a college degree and experience in audio or music annotation, with a keen ear for detail and the ability to review machine drafts for accuracy. Remote freelance work is supported, across varied projects.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, native-level English to describe voices and sounds.
• Track speakers accurately, even in overlaps or group speech.
• Transcribe English faithfully, including accents, fillers, and repetitions.
• Describe voices (pitch, quality, loudness, pace, emotion, intonation).
• Identify and time laughs, coughs, sneezes, sobs, gasps, and breaths.
• Recognize and describe non-speech sounds (texture, distance, ambience).
• Detect sound prominence and changes, including music transitions.
• Judge scene authenticity (voices/sounds added vs. recorded live).
• Place timing details precisely (onsets, offsets, overlaps, transitions).
• Review machine-generated drafts critically for accuracy.
