Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation in Cebu seeks an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Officer to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field (professional certification is an advantage).
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting with profitability and cost management.
• Active experience in financial business partnering and knowledge of cost accounting, management accounting, financial accounting, financial modeling, and supply chain management.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Willing to report in Danao, Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance and investigate variances across key accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records, cost data, and supporting account schedules.
• Support standard costing, pricing activities, and operational cost management.
• Provide financial analyses, insights, and recommendations for business decisions and projects.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and historical trend analysis.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Monitor capital expenditures, asset-related transactions, and inventory verification.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity of financial and operational data.
• Participate in process improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency.
• Perform other finance-related responsibilities and special projects.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (Finance) Officer will support financial planning, reporting, cost management, and business decision-making initiatives. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, ensure data integrity, and contribute to the organization's overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance and investigate significant variances across key accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records, cost data, and supporting account schedules.
• Support standard costing, pricing activities, and operational cost management.
• Provide financial analyses, insights, and recommendations to support business decisions and projects.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and historical trend analysis.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor capital expenditures, asset-related transactions, and inventory verification activities.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial and operational data.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
• Perform other finance-related responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any accounting-related course (professional certification is an advantage).
• With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience, preferably working in a manufacturing or supply chain industry.
• Must have experience in performing financial budgeting and forecasting along with profitability and cost management.
• With active experience in financial business partnering and knowledge of the following accounting functions: cost accounting, management accounting, financial accounting, financial modeling, and supply chain management.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Must be willing to report in Danao, Cebu.
