Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Forester to support environmental and sustainability objectives for a major hydropower project. The role involves forest management, biodiversity protection, and coordinating with engineers and environmental specialists. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or Environmental Science, possess a Forester license, and have 8–10 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct baseline forest and vegetation surveys within the project site.
  • Oversee vegetation clearance and tree removal activities.
  • Develop and implement reforestation and afforestation programs.
  • Monitor biodiversity and recommend habitat preservation measures.
  • Prepare and submit forestry-related documentation.
  • Engage with communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
