Job Description
- Operational Leadership
- Implement and manage food service strategies that optimize demand planning, pricing, forecasting, inventory, scheduling, and timely deliveries.
- Oversee negotiations and pricing agreements with existing partners to protect margins and promote loyalty.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: explore new accounts, additional channels, and product extensions.
- Expand presence in both traditional and emerging food service outlets.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain commercial relationships at all levels—distributors, hospitality clients, and institutional buyers.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and social engagements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations to refine existing products and support new product launches.
- Facilitate smooth communication between sales, marketing, and production teams for cohesive execution.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends, ensuring strategic positioning and tactical adjustments.
- Prepare regular performance reports and channel-specific analyses for senior management review.
- Team & Process Alignment
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align workflows, standardize processes, and ensure consistent best-practice implementation.
The Successful Applicant
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in food service or FMCG account management or business development, especially with distributors or foodservice clients.
- Demonstrated track record in demand planning, pricing strategy, and forecast management.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle, food safety standards, and supplier/distributor dynamics.
- Negotiation skills and experience with contract management, logistics coordination, or import/export regulations preferred.
