Job summary

Manila Recruitment Limited is seeking an Accountant to oversee the accounting and financial monitoring for a single-branch store. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring sales and inventory, and delivering regular reports and insights to management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or food service, and strong Excel/SAP skills. Willingness to travel for audits is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Retail/Food Industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience handling sales, inventory, and store-level accounting is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP Accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the branch, records daily sales, meal transactions, commissary deliveries, local purchases, utilities, rentals, and other financial transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile daily sales and collections.
• Review daily sales reports from all store locations.
• Track inventory movements, stock levels, and inventory costs; sorting costs for Food, Supplies, and Packaging on supplier invoices.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account/bank reconciliations.
• Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
• Monitor expenses, payables, and other branch-related financial transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Manage cash and check handling, supplier payments, payroll disbursement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2-3 years of relevant accounting experience

CPA license is not required
