Role: Food Attendant

Job Description

The Food Attendant ensures excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. They play a crucial role in delivering a positive dining experience to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and provide menus.
    • Assist customers in selecting menu items and provide recommendations as needed.
    • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
  • Food and Beverage Service:
    • Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure proper portion sizes and presentation of meals.
    • Refill beverages and attend to customer needs throughout their meal.
  • Dining Area Maintenance:
    • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.
    • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and service stations.
  • Cashiering and Billing:
    • Prepare and present bills to customers.
    • Handle payments accurately (cash, credit cards, or mobile payments).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
