Job summary

Kraken in Manila is seeking an anti-financial crime analyst to conduct investigations and draft SARs/STRs, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency in a crypto environment.

You will monitor transaction volumes, adjust processes for surges, and use analytics tools and Google Workspace to analyze data.

Candidates should have 2+ years in crypto AML, familiarity with tools like Chainalysis, and SQL/Python skills, with certifications welcomed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of anti-financial crime experience with a crypto background.
• Understanding of compliance operational functions and processes.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime risks.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Experience with SQL and Python is a plus.
• Certifications like CAMS/ICA/CRCM/CRC preferred.

What you bring

• 2+ years of anti-financial crime related experience with a crypto-background
• Understanding of compliance operational functions and processes
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with financial crimes
• Familiarity with Google Suite applications, with emphasis on Google Sheets and Google Doc or similar programs
• Familiarity and comfort utilizing AI and technology for automation
• Familiarity with specific tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM) and practices used in FIU
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Financial crime related certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CRCM, CRC)
• Database and programming skills such as SQL and Python
