Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate of Competency appropriate for the rank.
• Previous experience on similar vessel types.
• Valid STCW certification.
• Copy of seafarer medical certificate.
• Good English communication ability.

• Maintain and repair systems onboard LNG tanker ships.
• Perform fabrication, welding and fitting tasks as required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join a LNG TANKER operating worldwide trade.

The role involves supporting the engine department with maintenance and repair work, including fabrication, welding and fitting tasks as required onboard.

The Fitter will assist the engineering team with machinery maintenance and general engine room work in accordance with company procedures.

Candidates must demonstrate relevant shipboard experience and the ability to work effectively within a multinational engineering team.
