Job summary

PGA Cars, Inc. is seeking a skilled carpenter/mason for in-person work in Mandaluyong, Philippines. The role requires handling carpentry and masonry tasks, cabinet making, and furniture woodwork with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include following engineer instructions, setting up forms, building with masonry, and installing doors, windows and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have experience in furniture making or woodworks and be capable of working with minimal supervision on-site,

Qualifications

• High school or vocational degree is required.
• Experience in furniture making, wood works, or cabinet making.
• Experience in carpentry and masonry, including brick laying, framing and woodworks, repair and patch finishes, applying treatment, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow orders from the Engineer-in-Charge.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Set up forms, patterns and foundations as guides during construction.
• Build structures following masonry best practices.
• Remove excess mortar or grout.
• Check structural alignment during construction.
• Clean and polish finished structures.
• Mix cement and mortar for concrete and masonry work.
• Cut, fabricate, install and remove forms from concrete structures.
• Use hand and power tools for construction and tile installation.
• Fit and install window frames, doors and trims.
• Assemble and fix cabinets, doors, frames and wooden fixtures.
