Job summary

FactSet in Manila seeks a Research Analyst to collate, validate, and update datasets for investor relations tools. You'll analyze sources like feeds and press releases, ensuring top-quality real-time data for clients while reporting to the Team Lead in a hybrid onsite setting.

You will work with Customer Success to resolve data issues, maintain records, and contribute to meeting team targets, with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Must have degree in Commerce/Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer literacy to operate database and data collection software.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets to contextualize content.

Your Team's Impact

Irwin Data Collection & Research team specializes in providing tools that help businesses manage their investor relations activities, engage with shareholders, and enhance communication with the financial markets. These services are designed to improve how companies interact with investors and streamline related processes.

As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collating, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process. You will be analyzing these content sets by reviewing official updates from our trusted sources that can be in the form of feeds, corporate action mails, press releases, and other reports; thereby making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality. You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. This role requires onsite work as needed within a hybrid work schedule.

What You'll Do
  • Data Intake and Validation: Execute the processing of large datasets into customer accounts with a focus on accuracy and completeness. Conduct thorough data validation and cleansing to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

  • Timely Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer data issues promptly, working closely with Customer Success Managers to understand and resolve challenges.

  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer data uploads and outline the processes for training and reference.

  • Communication with Customer Success Team/Clients: Communicate effectively with the customer success team/clients, providing updates on upload progress, challenges, and resolutions. Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure alignment between upload processes and customer service goals.

What We're Looking For
Required Skills
  • Graduate in Commerce / Business Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics or equivalent

  • Computer Literacy to effectively use the database and software for collection and processing of content/data

  • Good Knowledge of financial markets to ensure effective understanding of assigned content/market

Desired Skills
  • Must have good communications skills - written & verbal need to interact with external and internal clients

  • Numerical skills to ensure understanding of the financial data to be collected and/or processed

  • Analytical skills and detail orientation to ensure accuracy of data

  • Good knowledge of Excel. Must be able to manipulate large spreadsheets

  • Business process demands to work in night shifts

  • Willing to work extended hours as per the business needs

  • Willing to be assigned to other projects

  • Driven by success, enthusiasm, and a desire to exceed target

  • Willing to work on Eastern Standard Time
