Competencies / Job Summary:
- Knowledgeable with basic accounting principles and accounting function;
- Knowledgeable in FS (Balance sheet; Income Statement and Cash Flow) preparation
- Bank reconciliation
- Have knowledge AR and AP process;
- Analyze accounting entries and recommend adjustments if necessary;
- Have knowledge in preparing Fixed Assets Lapsing schedule;
- Preferably have knowledge in construction company;
- Other duties related to accounting function that may require by the company.
Knowledgeable in BIR returns preparation and filing/payment (via EFPS) monthly/ quarterly/ annually;
- VAT
- Expanded and compensation (1601C and E)
- Quarterly Income Tax return.
Responsibilities
- Financial statement preparation: Oversee the preparation and compilation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process management: Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Compliance and control: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SEC guidelines, and other applicable regulations.
- Team supervision: Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of financial analysts or accounting staff, managing their daily workflow and performance.
- Data analysis: Analyze financial data, identify variances and trends, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Auditor liaison: Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Internal controls: Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Reporting: Prepare and present various financial reports, including ad-hoc requests, to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- College Graduate;
- BS Accountancy Graduate;
- 2-3 Years experience in bookkeeping and Financial Analysis
