Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to support monthly and quarterly IFRS reporting, including data preparation, reconciliation, journal entries and disclosures. The role collaborates with the Financial Reporting Lead to ensure accuracy and timely completion of reporting deliverables.

Exposure to IFRS 17 reporting, financial systems and UAT, with a focus on flux, variance and trend analysis, is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly IFRS reporting activities.
• Prepare transaction and reference data required for financial reporting processes, including IFRS 17 reporting solutions.
• Support preparation of disclosures for statutory, group, regulatory and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
• Prepare and post journal entries as required.
• Prepare the holding company's monthly reporting and financial statements.
• Review and reconcile reporting outputs across different systems and reporting components.
• Validate reporting outputs to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy.
• Investigate reporting variances, exceptions and unusual movements and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform flux, variance and trend analysis and provide explanations for key movements.
• Monitor monthly and quarterly reporting timelines to ensure deliverables are completed within deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, controls, documentation and working procedures.
• Assist the Financial Reporting Lead with new reporting requests arising from accounting standards.
• Participate in accounting system calibration and enhancements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and financial report customisation where required.

The incumbent will work closely with the Financial Reporting Lead to ensure reporting accuracy, compliance with applicable accounting standards and timely completion of reporting deliverables. Key Responsibilities
