Discovery Capital Finance Corp. in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Analyst / General Accountant to support financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and keen analytical abilities. Collaboration across departments and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis for assigned business units.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting activities.
• Generate financial reports and statements for internal use.
• Assist in presenting and communicating monthly variance analysis.
• Perform accounting activities to maintain an accurate and complete general ledger.
• Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile inter-branch receivables and payables.
• Review, adjust, and monitor accruals for assigned business units.
