Job summary

QBE Insurance in Cebu City seeks a Financial Reporting Analyst to collect, develop, analyze, and distribute data to prepare reports that support reporting compliance and business decisions. You will review statutory, regulatory, and management reports and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in financial reporting, with strong analytical and data reconciliation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 1 year relevant experience in financial reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and statutory reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of financial reports, including statutory, regulatory and management reports.
• Perform data analysis to support and identify key drivers of the movements in numbers.
• Ensure reports are in accordance with Group policies and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Ensure reporting is in alignment with all legal and regulatory requirements and adhere to corporate standards and best practices.
• Complete regulatory reports timely and accurately, ensuring statistical data edits have been validated and data has been balanced to General Ledger.
• Act as an SME for offshore analysts to support in the completion of regulatory reports.
• Provide technical expertise and mentoring to Finance Services Analyst and Specialist.
• Support other team members to assist in the achievement of team objectives.
