Job summary

PwC South Africa seeks a Finance Crime Subject Matter Expert (Manager) to lead advisory efforts across FC capabilities, methodologies, and client delivery. You will translate regulatory developments into practical solutions, drive capability development, and partner with clients to shape compelling market propositions.

Ideal candidates bring strong FC expertise, consulting acumen, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders within a global PwC network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong professional experience in Financial Crime, regulatory compliance, risk, or consulting.
• Experience in at least one core Financial Crime domain (KYC/CDD, AML, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions/Screening, Governance).

Responsibilities

• Translate regulatory requirements and client challenges into practical delivery approaches.
• Support development of FC methodologies, playbooks, and knowledge assets.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
