Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Operations, delivering budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability improvements for operational efficiency.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), plus BI skills to prepare reports and dashboards, with on-site work in Rosario, Cavite supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years FP&A or related experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory management, and variance analysis.
• Advanced MS Excel and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with BI/data viz tools like PowerBI or Tableau is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budget, forecast, and long-range financial planning processes across manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions.
• Analyze monthly financial results and provide insightful variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-period performance.
• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, overhead, and subcontracting expenses, identifying cost optimization opportunities.
• Support standard costing activities and investigate cost, volume, mix, yield, and efficiency variances.
• Prepare management reports, financial models, dashboards, and business performance analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate capital investment proposals through financial analyses (ROI, NPV, IRR, payback).
• Track, validate, and report savings from productivity, automation, and compliance with corporate financial policies.
• Provide actionable financial insights, recommendations, and presentations to senior leadership to support strategic business decisions.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned.

Role Summary:

The Senior Finance Analyst serves as a strategic finance partenr to Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Operations, providing financial planning, analysis, cost management, and business decision support. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost analysis, capital investment evaluation, and profitability improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support annual budget, forecast, and long-range financial planning processes across manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions.

• Analyze monthly financial results and provide insightful variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-period performance.

• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing cists, including direct materials, labor, overhead, and subcontracting expenses, while identifying cost optimization opportunities.

• Support standard costing activities and investigate cost, volume, mix, yield, and efficiency variances.

• Prepare management reports, financial models, dashboards, and business performance analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders, to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), FinancialAnalysis, Manufacturing Finance, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventorymanagement, and financial variance analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, orequivalent platforms.

• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau, is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business partnering skills.

• Willing to work on-site in Rosario, Cavite

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing environments such as semiconductor, electronics, or related industries.

• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, business analytics, and performancereporting.

• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced,dynamic environment.

• Proven capability to translate complex financial data into meaningful businessinsights and recommendations.
