Job summary

Northern Trust in Manila is seeking a skilled Regulatory Reporting professional to join our focused team. You will prepare and review regulatory and daily monitoring reports for EMEA entities, collaborate with internal partners, and implement process improvements with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting is required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 2-4 years of corporate or industry accounting/regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience in audit or regulatory or statutory financial reporting is advantageous.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines by multi-tasking and prioritizing deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review regulatory reports for various EMEA entities.

• Act as a key contact for internal partners with the ability to communicate regulatory and financial results.
• Recommend and implement process improvements identified in day-to-day work.
• Perform analyses to assess the impact of changes in regulations, new business, etc.
• Work with internal and external partners on cross-functional processes or projects providing analytical support and sharing knowledge.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting systems and train lower level staff.

Major Duties

• Prepares and reviews regulatory reports for various EMEA entities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of all regulatory reporting systems and demonstrate the ability and the desire to share the knowledge in the form of training to lower level staff.

Knowledge

• Thorough business and technical accounting knowledge, acquired through 2-4 years of corporate or industry experience.
• Experience in audit, regulatory or statutory financial reporting with a large organization an advantage.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines by multi-tasking and prioritizing various assigned deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires attention to detail and solid documentation techniques.

Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting is required. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
