Job summary

Fujitsu Limited in the Philippines is seeking a finance professional to ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and analysis of project and business unit performance, managing general ledger activities, month-end close, reconciliations, forecasting, and audit compliance.

The role supports business decisions through financial reviews and variance analysis, prepares financial reports, and ensures adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or any related field.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience (General Accounting, General Ledger).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience using ERP or financial systems is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Post General Ledger journals (accruals, deferrals, adjustments, cross charges, and allocations) per procedures.
• Ensure Month-end deadlines are met with accuracy and detail.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and report variances to managers.
• Analyze monthly project accounting reports covering revenues and costs for performance reviews.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and respond to ad hoc requests as needed.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance.

Role Purpose:
To ensure accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting, and analysis of project and business unit performance by managing general ledger activities, month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting, and audit compliance.

The role supports business decision-making through financial reviews, variance analysis, and the preparation of financial reports while maintaining adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilties:

• Applies accounting rules and procedures to ensure local compliance with documented procedures and accounting standards in posting General Ledger journals (Accruals, Deferrals, Adjustments, Cross charges and Allocations
• Ensures Month-end deadlines are consistently met to the right level of accuracy and detail
• Prepare/Review Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations – ensure the accuracy in recording revenues, expenses and adjustments for each project and in charge of preparing reports highlighting key issues and variances to different line and functional managers
• Financial Analysis – work cycle revolves around Project Accounting spanning analysis of monthly reports and recording of revenue and costs relevant in performance assessments of Projects
• Prepare Monthly Financial Reports and other ad hoc requests as may be required by the business.
• Provide support in internal and external audit requests and compliance
• Perform work related tasks may be assigned by immediate manager
