Position: Accounting Officer I Supervisor / Finance Manager

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Midshift (starting 10:00 AM)

Location: Batangas and Calabarzon

Qualification: Open for CPA/NON-CPA

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting or Finance Manager to lead our local finance operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership skills and a solid background in both financial management and accounting operations. This role will collaborate closely with the finance team in Buffalo, New York, ensuring smooth month-end closings and compliance across all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including general ledger management, transaction posting, banking, and online taxation.
  • Manage PEZA filings and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle monthly and year-end financial closing in coordination with the U.S. finance team.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the local accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze ManCom reports for both the Philippine and U.S. management teams.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss management to support business goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting through Odoo ERP.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting managerial role, preferably within a multinational or shared services setup.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and online taxation tools.
  • Familiar with PEZA compliance and local regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
