Job summary

Binance is seeking a high-performing Accountant with a finance transformation mindset to join our global Finance team. You will own core accounting and reporting while driving AI, automation and data-driven improvements to scale controls and decision-making.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in accounting or finance transformation, strong Excel and ERP experience, and a collaborative, fast-paced mindset to deliver technology-enabled finance solutions across the business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance transformation.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Interest in AI, automation and emerging finance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and management reporting including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax agents and external advisors.
• Lead or support finance transformation initiatives and automation projects.

We are looking for a high-performing Accountant with strong technical accounting fundamentals and a finance transformation mindset. Beyond core accounting and reporting, you will help transform Finance through AI, automation, data and technology, improving efficiency, controls, scalability and decision-making.

Experience in consulting, finance transformation or technology-enabled finance, particularly within FinTech or digital assets, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external advisors.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify and transform finance processes.
• Leverage AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics and technology to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Data, Engineering and business teams to implement technology-enabled finance solutions.
• Lead or support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives, challenging existing ways of working.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years' relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Experience in finance transformation, automation or consulting is highly preferred.
• Strong interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data and emerging finance technologies.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP, BI, workflow automation or financial systems experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Highly detail-oriented, curious and willing to challenge the status quo.
