TAPA KING INC is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Finance Department, including AR, AP, Financial Reporting, Inventory and Treasury. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, closing, and cash flow analysis while ensuring compliance with tax and reporting regulations.
Key duties include coordinating with external auditors, managing intercompany transactions, lease reviews, and preparing projections for new stores and capital expenditures. Strong leadership and integrity are essential.
1. Manages the Finance Department comprising of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable,Financial Reporting & Inventory and Treasury Sections;
2. Reviews the Accounts Payable Vouchers (APV) that are Php100K and above;
3. Oversees the Purchasing Department which covers forecasting, costing and sourcing ofsuppliers;
4. Prepares budget, financial forecasts and variance report;
5. Provides timely and accurate rolling forecast to ensure the business is on track to deliver tobudget expectations;
6. Prepares monthly and annual financial statements;
7. Prepares monthly and annual cash flow projection and analysis;
8. Prepares financial analysis as needed for capital expenditure, pricing decisions and contract negotiations;
9. Ensures compliance to government reporting requirements and tax filing;
10.Coordinates the financial statements and audit with external auditors;
11.Handles the recording and billing of foreign franchise;12.Handles the recording, monitoring and reconciliation of inter company transactions;
13.Responsible for the monthly and annual closing of books;
14.Responsible for the funding of bank accounts;
15.Reviews and approves lease agreements and other contracts;
16.Prepares letter to Bureau of Internal Revenue for branch closure;
17.Prepares projections for new stores and capital expenditures;
18.Prepares financial projections and presentations to banks;
19.Computes and monitors the break-even and targets on a quarterly basis;
20.Ensures that month-end procedures for all the four sections are executed and within cut-off;
21. Tracks the Company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement;
22.Presents the financial reports to board members, stakeholders and executives;
23.Establishes and maintains financial policies and procedures for the company;
24.Monitors the key result areas (KRAs) and performance of all Finance Department personnel;
25.Files important documents and ensures fast retrieval when needed;
26.Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential;
27.Part of Mancom and Opcom meetings;
28.Performs others tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
