Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager with strong leadership experience and a solid background in corporate financial operations. Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee all local finance operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards.

  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports for regional and corporate consolidation.

  • Act as the Corporate Treasurer for the local legal entity.

  • Manage bookkeeping, general ledger, bank files, and payroll through the in-house finance team.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems, including SunSystems, CargoWise, and TMS modules.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and manage a local finance team of six (6) direct subordinates, including:

    • One in-house finance staff handling payroll, ledger, and bank files.

  • Provide coaching, performance reviews, and development opportunities for team members.

  • Manage a finance department currently supporting an organization of less than 50 employees.

Compliance & Business Support
  • Ensure compliance with standard regulations in the freight forwarding industry.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and international corporate partners.

  • Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience leading a small finance team is required.

  • Background working in international or multinational corporate environments.

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping systems and modern finance software.

  • Experience with SunSystems and CargoWise is an advantage.

  • Strong personality, professional presence, and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to learn and work with TMS modules.

  • Strong understanding of local compliance and finance regulations.
