Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The role requires strong initiative, independence, and leadership in overseeing financial activities with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must come from a manufacturing background and possess experience in managing local and international financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
• Manage and oversee exempt benefits transactions and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, providing insights to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present Management Committee (ManCom) reports for both the Philippines and the United States operations.
• Supervise month-end closing activities in coordination with the finance team based in US.
• Manage banking transactions, fund monitoring, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee all ERP-related financial transactions (preferably using Odoo or any equivalent system) to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Handle online taxation, accounting, and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with government and company standards.
• Manage and ensure timely and accurate PEZA filings and other statutory reports.
• Establish, monitor, and improve internal controls, financial policies, and operating procedures.
• Continuously drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L management.
• Experience in ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of PEZA regulations, Philippine taxation, and financial compliance.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with experience coordinating with global teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on-site in Batangas on a mid-shift schedule.
