Job Description
- A Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing an organization's financial health by managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Developing financial strategies, preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports to monitor financial performance and guide decision-making.
- Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and projections to present to senior management or stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensuring efficient management of cash flow, investments, and working capital to meet operational needs.
- Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, including maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is usually required. A master’s degree or an MBA in finance is often preferred.
Certifications
- Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Accountant (CA) are highly valued.
Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Skills
- Financial analysis: Ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare detailed reports.
