A financial consultancy firm in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis professional. The role involves preparing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing financial trends to help drive decision-making. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with relevant experience in financial analysis. Strong Excel skills and proficiency in BI tools like Power BI are essential for success in this position.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling forecasts.
Maintain and improve financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actuals vs. forecast, explaining key drivers.
Compile and analyze financial and operational KPIs (e.g., revenue, margins, profitability).
Generate regular P&L and cost center reports with basic commentary for internal stakeholders.
Support timely month-end closing by coordinating with accounting and operations teams.
Support business units with financial insights and data to aid operational decisions.
Participate in business review meetings and contribute performance highlights.
Assist in ad hoc analysis (e.g., pricing, promotions, business case validation).
Monitor OPEX and CAPEX utilization against budget; flag significant variances.
Track ongoing cost‑saving initiatives and provide reporting on achieved savings.
Ensure financial reports and forecasts comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Support the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for internal or external audits.
Use BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) to generate standardized dashboards.
Contribute ideas for improving reporting workflows or automating manual processes
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA/CMA or progress toward certification is a plus
3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business analysis, or commercial finance
Experience in hospitality, online gaming, or consumer-driven industries is an advantage
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; Google Sheets familiarity a plus
Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain financial data to non‑finance users
Knowledge of Philippine tax/regulatory environment is a plus
