Job summary

A well-known maritime company in Central Luzon is looking for a Finance Assistant to assist in financial processes, including month-end closing and audits. The ideal candidate should have a college degree in Accountancy or a related field and at least three years of relevant experience. Strong communication and computer skills are essential. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years related experience as Accounting / Finance office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the month-end close process.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of some ledger accounts.
  • Review open invoice reports and follow up with a schedule of payments.
  • Assist Finance Manager with the year-end financial audit.

Skills

Good communication and personal relation skills
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

FINANCE ASSISTANT
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist with the month-end close process.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of some ledger accounts.
  • Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
  • Review open invoice reports; follow up with a schedule of payments or adjustments.
  • Reviews all receipts and disbursements, ascertains correct account distribution and ensuring all support documentation is accurate and in order.
  • Assist Finance Manager with the year-end financial audit.

  • Perform other related duties as directed within the project guidelines established.
Education, Skills and Experience
  • College graduate with degree in Accountancy or related courses
