Job summary

San Miguel Corporation is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Region Finance Supervisor in executing finance functions across the area, aiming to optimize profitability, safeguard assets, and strengthen internal controls.

You will compile financial and management reports, assist with year-end estimates and budgets, analyze fund balances, and respond to queries from auditors, customers, vendors, and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Management Accounting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal relationship skills, leadership and analytical capability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate; SAP and MS Office knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Compiles financial and management reports for the area in line with the business unit’s financial policies.
• Supports the Region Finance team in collecting data and assumptions for year-end estimates and budget projections.
• Ensures accurate recognition by analyzing reported fund balances and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and government regulations.
• Addresses queries from auditors, customers, vendors, and government agencies related to the area.
