This includes identifying and resolving accounting and internal control issues arising from business activities and process changes. The role requires a thorough understanding of end-to-end business processes to ensure that appropriate internal controls are designed and operating effectively, and that transactions are recorded in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. The position ensures the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information through detailed monthly reconciliation analysis and the preparation of comprehensive reconciliation reports.
